How many have you read? I see and hear issues of Comcast all of the time, and on this day had a “so called” service call because we had internet outage (which meant, no TV service, or anything cable related for several hours from noon until 6 or 7 last night. I called around 4 to schedule someone to come out and try to fix it, in the event it was still not on. At this time, Comcast had no reported outages in my area.
The guy I got the next day arrived as promised between 8-11 am meaning 10:30 am, and saw my Tivo box, and you would have thought it was his first day on the job.
1.) He could not tell me anything as to why we were having the problems.
2.) He claimed my Tivo was a problem for him, because he could not figure out what the problem (that had now long since passed) even was??
3.) He basically gave up, and asked me to sign a form and he basically left, no goodbye, have a nice day.. More or less “Up yours”, is the vibe I got.
So, I do not know why the problem occurred, their so called Comcast techs, are blown out of the water when they see a Tivo box, meaning the program they have learned is now rendered useless. They make you feel as if you are the problem, if you own a Tivo. Great huh?? For this I pay $150.00 a month!! Absolutely crazy unacceptable.
Any one else, please pile on. This is my first service call to Comcast in more than a year, and this is what I get..
